We'll miss you Grandpa Vic!

On Feb 3, 2010 are beloved Great Grandpa, Victor Anderson returned to his Father in Heaven.

Grandpa Vic was an amazing man! My kids loved him, he told the best jokes, and could always make them laugh with his Donald Duck voice. He was a great story teller, with a wealth of information. He was a man of God, and lived his life to serve him.
He was an advat scouter, and was involved in the scouting program for 50 of it's 100 yrs.
Many of his sons and grandsons and great grandsons came in their scouting uniforms.
I love this pic of Lyn and Weston saluting the flag!
He also received full military honors!
Grandpa Vic's sons~Steve, Dennis, Brent, and Craig
We our very proud to have called him Our Grandpa and will always remember the legacy he left for us to follow.

It was so nice out that we were able to were shorts.

Even the ducks were out enjoying the day!

We went to visit Momma's friend Sheri, from college and her family. Mom and Sheri haven't seen each other for 3 years. We had a great time playing at her house, with her little boy Garret. He is so cute!

Pumpkins and Grandpa's birthday!

Every year for Grandpa Vic's birthday we have a pumpkin carving contest and birthday party. This year we carved pumpkins the night before the party. The kids had a lot of fun. Ellie, Chris and Tiesha all craved very intricate designs. Grandma Susy's monster pumpkin turned out very cool. Ray was very proud of his pumpkin, he got to carve it this year. The birthday party turned out great we had a good turn out with more than enough food. Uncle Brent made balloon animals and hats for the kids young and old, and Ellie and Trinity did a great job decorating Grandpa's cake. Happy Birthday Grandpa Vic! Lookin' good, at 88 years young!

Sleep Over Fun!

For Labor Day fun,
the kids got to stay over at Gramie's & Grandpa Vic's.
They like to stay over. Gramie lets them stay up and watch T.V. past bed time, and they get to sleep on the floor in the living room.
