We made Christmas cookies to give to our neighbors for Christmas treats!
All the kids helped by either cutting out cookies or frosting them.

While we were making the cookies, we were listening to Christmas music, and one of our favorite songs came on. It's called Christmas cookies by George Strait. Lyn usually sings it to us if he is home when we are making cookies.
Now Christmas cookies are a special treat
The more she bakes the more I eat
And sometimes I can't get myself to stop
Sometimes she'll wait til I'm asleep
And she'll take the ones that I didn't eat
And put those little sprinkley things on top
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees and bells and stars.
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
Lyn did come home while we were making them, and took a bunch with him when he went back to work.

I've never heard that song...I'll have to look that one up. I love George Strait.
You're such a great mom you're always making awesome things and having fun projects with your kids! What a fun (and yummy) idea.
