School Starts
Ellie started 6th grade at the Old Jr. High, now the new Timpanogos Intermediate school, she is excited, because her BFF Kenna Duke, is in her class, and that she gets to ride her bike every day.
Ellie's off on her new bike, for school.
Lyn's Elk
I didn't get a picture of the elk, it was a young cow, but here we are cutting it up.
We got around 200 lbs of meat.
We have already tried some of the steaks and the burger, both were delicious!

Pam and Trisha's Visit
Unfortunately, they had to visit for a sad reason, Pam's step-mother past away, however we still made the most of their visit. I hadn't seen Pam for years, and I hadn't seen Trisha since she about 1 year old, and now she is 18. So needless to say we had a lot of catching up to do!
Trisha, Ray, Ellie, Pam, Bekah, and Weston in front.
The kids really enjoyed Pam and Trisha staying with us. The girls even gave up their room.

and made them get their picture by the sign.
Ray really took a liking to Trisha, maybe because he got to spend the most time with her, since he didn't have to go to school.

Ray was even jealous when Trisha got to go up to the Arnold's house to hang out with some kids her own age for a bit. It was kinda cute.
He tells me all the time that he misses Trisha and wants her to come back.
So I had to have this picture, because somewhere I have a picture of Trisha and I when she was only a year.

Pam is one of my BFF. We have been friends since grade school, and have kept in touch over the years. She was the one friend that wrote to me my whole mission, and I know that if I ever needed her for any reason she would make that 10 hour drive from New Mexico for me. I was glad that I could help her in her time of need this time, and I really enjoyed the spirit she brought into our home and the love that she showed to my kids.
