On Sat. this year the sledding party just went over to the church and up to the Stake Center to take advantage of the big snow hills there. Then they came back to the house for hot cocoa. I didn't sled this year, because of my back, but I did take the pictures. The kids look forward to spending time with their Dad.

Lyn's Birthday Dinner

For Lyn's Birthday Chris & Tiesha offered to grill the steaks! I only had to make homemade mashed potatoes, and the cobbler for the party.

Christmas Lights on Temple Square!

I love to go to the SLC Temple to see the lights! Usually we go down for my birthday, but this year we didn't make it until after Christmas.

It was great, because our Winterbottom(Epperson) cousins were able to meet us there. We all went out to dinner 1st at the Sizzler, then went down to see the lights.

The Christmas Bunny

For Christmas, Grandma Susy and Grandpa Blaine got the kids a BUNNY in a Box

When they 1st opened it they were scared that it was a SNAKE.

However, after seeing it was a bunny they were Very EXCITED!

They named her Lucky Soot Epperson!

She is very soft and will live in the garage until see becomes accustom to the cold then, she will move to the back deck. She will be a good pet for our children.

Christmas Eve '09

We had lunch/dinner before Lyn had to go to work, and then played around for a while.

On to Grandma Berg's house for dinner and the Christmas play.

Uncle Chad was the reader this year, and Maylie, Sophia, Andalyn, and Bekah were the Angels.

Christmas Eve Presents

Traditionally we open our person's present on Christmas Eve, however this year the grandkids got to open their present from Grandma and Grandpa Berg.

All the grandkids got new P.J.'s and they each got a special blanket made by Grandma. All the kids were excited to sleep with them that night!

Christmas Cookies!

We made Christmas cookies to give to our neighbors for Christmas treats!
All the kids helped by either cutting out cookies or frosting them.

While we were making the cookies, we were listening to Christmas music, and one of our favorite songs came on. It's called Christmas cookies by George Strait. Lyn usually sings it to us if he is home when we are making cookies.

Lyn did come home while we were making them, and took a bunch with him when he went back to work.

Christmas Programs

The girls both had Christmas programs this year.

Bekah's 2nd graders, did a musical about Santa losing his Christmas spirit. The songs and dances were fun to watch.
