Cousin Fun!

This summer the kids have had a lot of fun with their cousins.
Ditch Water

The kids had a great time playing in the ditch water this summer. They even pulled each other through the water on sleds.

Grasshopper Gatherings

Bekah got everyone into Bug collecting this summer. More than once they made a grasshopper hotel for the bugs they caught.

Water, Water, and more Water!

Bridal Veil Falls

This is one of are favorite places to play in the summer. The water is so cold, but on a hot day it feels great!
The water at the bottom pool is only about 2-4 ft deep. So it's prefect for wading, and I don't even have to put on my swim suit. Bekah loves to lay down in it!
Weston and Ray like to move the rocks to make dams, and forts.
Ellie likes to climb to the falls in search of cool rocks! We always have a fun time, and usually take a picnic when we go!

Washing the Car!

The kids love to wash the car in the summer! Any excuse to get wet right?!
Of course washing the car always ends in a water fight!

The Berg cousins all got together and went down to Liberty Park in SLC for the day.

It was a very HOT day! We used are zoo passes to get in free to the Tracy Aviary.
(good thing it was free)

Liberty Park Water Fun!

This was by far the best part of the day.

We had a picnic 1st because everyone was starving, then played in the water.

It was a great way to cool off!

School's Out Fun!

Since it was raining the day school got out for the summer. We got all the Berg cousins together and took a trip to the Zoo, on the 1st really nice day. I was tending Sammy Schwinn that day so he got to got too. It was a nice day to be outside.

Here are all the cousins (LtoR) Sammy (not a cousin), Bekah, Weston, Brieanna, Sydney, & Ellie. In front Maddison, Ray, Mason, Annelisa holding Sophie.
The best part of the Zoo this time was to find out that one of the Elephants is going to have a baby next year in July. (I can't image being pregnant for 22 months.) So next year we will have a new baby elephant at the Zoo.

Bekah's Last Day of Kindergarten

This is Bekah and her teacher Mrs. Holly Hansen.

Bekah was so sad that she wouldn't get to she her teacher again.
We made Mrs. Hansen a special class gift. I bought a white T-shirt, & Bekah wrote the words,"Mrs. Hansen's Kinder"Garden" on the front. Then we took it to her class and drew 20 flower stems on the front and back of the shirt and put the kids hands on top of each stem for the flower and then let the kids write there name in their hand. It turned out really cute, and Mrs. Hansen loved it!

Summer Fun '07

Summer starts the old fashioned way with Baseball! Weston played coach pitch for the 1st time this year and really loved it. He had 2 awesome coaches (Corey Games & Bryon Horner) who really worked with the boys on their skills.

Ellie played coach pitch/tryout. Which lets all the girls tryout the different positions and learn to play them. Ellie loved to pitch and play short stop, and she was quite good at both.
Grandma Berg takes the cousins to the Hogle Zoo at least once a summer. Ellie, Sammy. Emma, and Bekah designed their shirts for this outing and I made their camo shorts to match.

Ellie's favorite animal is the zebra, so of course we had to have a picture by them.

My kids had been to the derby the weekend before with their Dad.
Bridal Veil Falls Wading Pool

This was my new discovery this summer and turned out to be one of the kids favorite spots to go play on a hot summer day. I didn't realize that the Provo Canyon walking trail goes right past the falls bottom and they have set up a little place only 2 ft deep for the kids to play. What a fun free outing! I'm all for free!

We had a fun summer this year and really enjoyed being together as a family!
