Gingerbread Houses

One of our family Christmas traditions is to make gingerbread houses for the Cottages For the Children, a silent auction/fund raiser for our local Children Justice Center. This year we made 18 family houses. Lyn's house won 2nd place in the Amateur Division this year. Way to go Lyn! We all had a lot of fun. The last few pictures on the slide show are of our favorite houses, and ideas for next year!

So so beautiful! I love how you got Lyn to do one. I would have to strap Mark down in front of his x-box and tell him to do as he plays. It would probably end up being a gingerbread bloody battlefield:)

Way to go Lyn, it looks great. Next year we are so there....competition is ON!

I totally forget that it was Swiss Christmas & the gingerbread houses last week. Darn. I guess there's always next year - but all your houses look great!

I love the new addition to your blog. The slide show is awesome. Sorry it has taken me so long to comment. I think Mark should do a x-box ginger house next year. I so want to do a detailed one, we will see.
