He was riding in the back of Lyn's truck, going up to scout Elk with him, and slid off the tool box when Lyn went around a corner.
He got some pretty nasty road rash on all of his feet,
and luckily no broken bones.
After 8 weeks with a cone on his head, and lots of stitches.

and we are so glad that he can play with us again!

Heather, I have to say my phrase: OH MY HELL!!!! Those pictures made the back of my legs ACHE!!! That poor puppy!
I have always wondered about all of the "Heber Dogs" you always see around town on top of tool boxes in the back of trucks. So I guess your post answered my question: Yup...they do fall out!
I'm glad he's doing so much better. Isn't it funny how animals are such a huge part of our families!?
