Cowboy Poetry!

This year we were more involved in
The Cowboy Poetry Gathering than in the past.
We always go to the kick-off dinner & concert, but this year we were able to go to more performances.

This is our Hometown Cowboy, Richard Lee Cody!
He is an Epperson Family favorite, and a good friend.

Ellie, Bekah, and Weston with Grandma Susy!
(Ray was to little to go, but he had more fun at Sam's House)

One of the many entertainers at the Horse Extravaganza
Ellie really loved his horse, her name is Rosa.

My favorite part of the whole weekend was the

Jam Session at the Claim Jumper.
We had a great time, got to be crazy, and met some fun new friends.

Richard, in middle of the Jammers.

Me, line dancin' with my girlfriends!

Everyone gets in on the act. The guy in the golf hat, could play one good song, but he said he learned a lot just by hangin' out with these great musicians.
Maybe I can talk Lyn into taking his guitar next year.

At the Sunday session of Cowboy Church
We got to listen to the great Bar J Wranglers

And a new comers to the gathering Miss Junie Fisher!
She has an awesome voice, and is a great song writer too!

All in all it was a great year!
The kids and Grandma Susy

Ray and Grandpa Blaine

So until next year, make sure you don't sit on your spurs, and we'll see y'all then!
The Epperson Family
(L~R Lyn, Heather, Chris Tiesha, Ray,Weston, Bekah, Grma Susy, Ellie, Grpa Blaine, & Klint)

How fun. Next year is the year for us! We just didn't get to it this time. I love how envolved your family is in this great community. Thanks for the clothes. We'll take good care of them. We are headed out to the renactment this evening.

wow that looks like so much fun...I'll have to put it on my TO_DO for next year. This november has been a bit too stressful!
I have not been for a few years. Fun times!
