Ellie & her Fiddle!

This last Sept. Ellie started taking violin/fiddle lessons, through the schools orchestra program. We have found out that she is quite good and really has a nac for playing it.
Grandma Susy promised to buy her a violin for her birthday,
but right now we are just renting it.
She can play quite a few simple songs, and has even tried to teach me to play a bit.
Her class is working on some songs for their Christmas concert, and are almost done learning their first book.
She enjoys the music so much that during cowboy poetry we took her to a concert to hear these girls play.

Here is Ellie with her new friends the QUEBE SISTERS. Ellie really enjoyed listening to their music and getting inspired to play. She even bought their CD and had them all sign it.
